EnerCote GPII

EnerCote GPII [up to 50 °C (120 °F) wet service]

EnerCote GPII is a solvent free, sprayable 2-part ceramic-filled epoxy designed for corrosion protection. This easy-to-use coating offers protection against chemical attack, abrasion, and corrosion. Its high gloss, low friction finish enhances pump efficiency and allows for fast application to complex geometries.

The Chemistry of EnerCote GPII

Free of Toxins

No coal tar, fly ash, solvents or isocyanates

Renewable Raw Materials

EnerCote GPII incorporates renewable raw materials, including a
unique nut shell technology that forms the foundation of our product.

Advanced Chemistry

The coating’s chemistry features a benzene ring and a long chemical chain, providing exceptional water and chemical resistance.

EnerCote Chemistry

Laboratory tests show that EnerCote GPII significantly reduces water absorption, permeability, and moisture vapor transmission compared to other liquid polymer
coatings.

Water Resistance

Water, a universal solvent, accounts for 41% of global freshwater demand in industrial applications. Its solvency, combined with chlorides and dissolved oxygen, creates an effective electrolyte that initiates corrosion. EnerCote GPII acts as a barrier, protecting metal substrates from water contact, thus mitigating corrosion and extending equipment life.

Nut Shell Technology

EnerCote GPII uses approximately 50% nut shell chemistry, offering
the highest water-resistant barrier film available. Our proprietary rheology and ceramic chemistry further enhance EnerCote, creating a high-performance water lining system that protects equipment from aqueous corrosion for decades
